Welcome to what has been an off-and-on endeavor for years now. Challenged by a nerdy friend of mine almost 7 years ago to found a place where he could read my writing, and this is what he got. It used to be called onlythecurioushavesomethingtofind.blogspot.com, but there should be a limit to links as long as that... so I changed it. Over the years, that devotee and probably my only reader, is now my husband. We skipped rocks from nerdy friends, to out-of-touch, to almost lovers a time or two in between, but the power of words seemed to always be a crucial piece of our story.

All of the heart aches and the growth spurts that occur in a young lady's life in 7 years, through high school, college and now married with a career, are captured in one poem, song, rant or another. Sometimes maybe, just maybe, worth reading.

Looking back, I see growth I never thought would happen. And oddly enough, this blog (1 of 1,000,000,000,000 out there) is a good place to observe it. I enjoy a random 2010 blog post re-read with popcorn more than any romantic comedy... get ready for some belly laughing at that sophomoric angst.

So, enjoy my musings, my good times and my bad. Enjoy a highly-emotional and passionate almond-lover who forgets to brush her teeth at least once a week. I also probably cry once week (at a minimum), sometimes set off just by the smallest little injustices that highlight the fact that we are not meant for this world, like people eating alone in restaurants and pencils that run out of eraser... but that's a different story.

Try to share my love for words and metaphors, although sometimes they just come out obtuse, like a big fat ink blot on a page. Oh and my love for art that I can't understand and philosophy that no one understands and... it's all here.
